What Is

3 Day / Weekend Mission Trip

Teams can choose between a Weekend Package (two nights) or a 3-Day Mission Trip (three nights) depending on their schedule. Each experience includes training, outreach, and real opportunities to serve communities across NYC through street ministry, food distribution, prayer, and evangelism.

Through NYSUM’s Mobile Food Truck, street outreach, and partnerships with local churches and ministries, teams engage directly with individuals and families across diverse neighborhoods—bringing hope to those in need and sharing the message of the Gospel in practical ways.

Each trip begins with comprehensive urban ministry training led by experienced NYSUM staff, followed by hands-on outreach throughout the city. Teams gain firsthand experience in urban missions while growing in faith, boldness, and compassion.

    Why It Matters

3 Day / Weekend Mission Trip

The Weekend / 3-Day Mission Trip in NYC provides an opportunity to step into real, hands-on ministry—where faith is lived out through action.

In a city as diverse as New York, needs are constant and varied. This outreach allows teams to respond in practical ways while also sharing hope through the message of Jesus.

Even within a short timeframe, the impact is significant. Volunteers are challenged, encouraged, and spiritually strengthened as they serve in real-life ministry environments. Many leave with a renewed sense of purpose, deeper compassion, and a greater confidence in sharing their faith.

The experience often extends beyond the trip itself—impacting how participants serve in their own communities, churches, and everyday lives long after they return home.
